I took this photo of my husband (with his permission) one afternoon. This is our beautiful, sweet daughter Fiona who has given dear Dad and I a run for our money so to speak.
Dear Dad was multitasking in his study while Tula worked sleepy dust onto our daughter.
Poor tired mom (me) had a rough afternoon since our daughter wasn’t feeling well due to reflux and refused to nap. I fell asleep on the couch and woke up to utter silence to find dear Dad coding away on his laptop while Fiona was snoozing away and dreaming sweet baby dreams. I was so relieved that Fiona had found comfort in the arms of her father. Dear Dad was so proud of himself that he was able to help both Fiona and I get some rest. I have such a deep love for my husband seeing his adoration and bond grow with our daughter.
This photo was approximately a month ago at the beginning of April 2013.
Babywearing has changed our lives in being able to comfort our daughter, bond with her and make traveling so efficient. We live on the third story so after a few times of traveling up and down the stairs with a carseat, we knew there had to a better solution. What we didn’t know was that we would find a new style of parenting.
